There is no cost to host. Parents register and order online through their own private galleries, so there's no collecting payments or distributing photos. From planning to gallery delivery, I take care of every detail, creating an organized, low-stress experience that your families will look forward to year after year.

Reserve your Picture day
Choose a date that works best for your daycare, and I'll take care of the planning from there. Once your date is confirmed, I'll provide everything you need to prepare your families.

Parents receive a custom registration link to easily register their child before Picture Day. They'll complete a short questionnaire and review the available photo packages in advance—no paperwork or payments for you to manage.

Picture Day Arrives
On Picture Day, I'll photograph each registered child in a relaxed, child-led environment designed to capture genuine smiles and authentic personalities. Every session is designed to be relaxed, playful, and stress-free for both children and staff.

Galleries are delivered
Within approximately 7-10 days, each family receives a private online gallery where they can view their child's images and purchase only the photos they love.

Parents Select their favorites
Families are free to purchase the collection that best fits their needs—or simply enjoy viewing their gallery. There's never any obligation to purchase. Package prices are shared below.

I'm a Sacramento-based photographer and most importantly, a mom to two little ones.
As a parent, I know how quickly these early years fly by. That's why I love creating simple, stress-free photo experiences that capture genuine smiles, big personalities, and the little moments you'll want to remember for years to come.
My approach is patient, playful, and child-led. Whether your child is outgoing, shy, silly, or somewhere in between, my goal is to create a comfortable environment where they can simply be themselves.

Is there any cost to host a picture day?
No! Hosting a Posh Portraits Picture Day is completely complimentary for your daycare. Families purchase their photos directly through their private online galleries, so there's no financial commitment or fundraising obligation for your program.
HOw Long Does Picture Day Take?
It depends on the number of registered children, but most portraits take just a few minutes per child. I'll work with you beforehand to create a schedule that fits seamlessly into your daily routine. I aim to start around 9:30, hoping to hit that sweet spot before kids start to get hungry and tired, but I am flexible to fit in during the best time in your day.
How much work is required to host a picture day?
Very little! Once your Picture Day is scheduled, I'll provide a custom registration link and ready-to-share information for your families. Parents register online, and I handle the photography, gallery delivery, and all photo orders.
What if a child isn't having their best day?
No worries! Young children are wonderfully unpredictable, and that's okay. I take a patient, playful approach and never force smiles. Some of the sweetest portraits come from genuine curiosity, giggles, and natural expressions.
Do parents need to be present?
No. Children are photographed during their normal daycare day in a familiar environment. My relaxed, child-led approach helps little ones feel comfortable and allows me to capture authentic expressions.
Can we schedule Picture days more than once a year?
Absolutely! Many providers choose to offer seasonal Picture Days, such as spring and fall, giving families updated portraits as their little ones grow.
What space do you need?
A small indoor area (about 6ft wide and 3-4 ft deep) with good natural light works beautifully. If needed, I can also bring supplemental lighting. We'll discuss the best location within your daycare to ensure a smooth setup beforehand.
what safety measures do you have in place when working with children?
Creating a safe, comfortable experience is incredibly important to me. I've completed fingerprinting & background clearance through a local school district, and I work alongside you and your staff throughout the day to help ensure children feel comfortable and supported.
